ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm
Janet Wampler

about me
For over a decade, I’ve been actively serving our community—as a volunteer, a leader, and most recently, as a founding member of the Transition Team preparing Ogden Valley for cityhood. I’ve led local initiatives such as quarterly Red Cross blood drives, Pineview Clean-Ups, and Youth Art Classes. I serve as an active board member for the Community Foundation of Ogden Valley and I am the Chairman of the Ogden Valley Planning Commission.
Before that, I spent my career in marketing leadership, with an MBA and Six Sigma certification—skills I will use to guide smart growth, strategic planning, and financial stewardship for our new city.
I’m not just running for mayor—I’m already doing the work.
Why I am running
I’m running for Mayor because I care deeply about this community and have the experience, time, and energy to lead it forward. I’m ready to serve full-time and work in partnership with our residents to ensure Ogden Valley thrives—today and for generations to come.
